Marvel Studios<\/a> has revealed the Disney+<\/strong><\/a> release date for Thunderbolts*<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Thunderbolts* will begin streaming on Disney+ on August 27.<\/p>\n In Marvel Studios\u2019 Thunderbolts*, a group of antiheroes reluctantly form a new superhero team. In the post-credits scene, the New Avengers spotted a spacecraft with a \u201c4\u201d on the side entering Earth\u2019s atmosphere. The ship belongs to the Fantastic Four.<\/p>\n Released in May 2025, Thunderbolts* grossed $74.3\u00a0million in its domestic opening weekend. Thunderbolts* finished its theatrical run with a worldwide total of $382 million on a budget of $180 million.<\/p>\n Directed by Jake Schreier<\/a>, Thunderbolts* received mostly positive reviews, with many critics saying the unlikely team-up movie was a step in the right direction for Marvel.<\/p>\n Several of the Thunderbolts have already been confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>, including Stan, Pugh, Harbour, Pullman, and John-Kamen. In Doomsday, the New Avengers are expected to team up with the original X-Men, Fantastic Four, Wakandans, and the Avengers to take on Doctor Doom.
