This August, for the first time since the inaugural year of the wildly unique music festival,\u00a0Park City Song Summit<\/a>, the blending of live performances, open-ended panel discussions, and mountain-air wellness activities will take place in the heart of the city where it was born. On\u00a0August 14-16, 2025, Song Summit patrons will flock to\u00a0Park City\u2019s City Park\u00a0to attend what founder\u00a0Ben Anderson\u2014who SPIN just named one of the\u00a025 Most Influential People In Music<\/a>\u2014calls a \u201cfestival love letter to the power of song.\u201d Park City Song Summit, along with founding sponsor\u00a0Stand Together Music<\/a>\u00a0and presenting sponsor\u00a0A New Earth Project<\/a>, has sparked many national conversations about wellness and recovery in the music industry and well beyond.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to performances from artists like\u00a0Goose\u00a0and\u00a0Marcus King, special collaborations abound in the Song Summit 2025 lineup.\u00a0Greensky Bluegrass\u00a0will take the stage with usually-solo pianist,\u00a0Holly Bowling,\u00a0Dawes\u00a0will be joined by their friend\u00a0Duane Betts, and a special\u00a0Terrapin Family Band\u00a0performance is set to take place with\u00a0Eric Krasno,\u00a0Adam MacDougall,\u00a0Jennifer Hartswick, and\u00a0Nicki Bluhm. Song Summit Labs\u00a0will return in 2025, covering such topics as\u00a0\u201cDance Music and Activism,\u201d\u00a0\u201cThe Havana-New Orleans Connection,\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cThe American Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Band in 2025.\u201d\u00a0For the uninitiated, Song Summit Labs allow fans to participate in discussions that dissect, illuminate, and interrogate the art of music and songwriting while being an inclusive space to talk about mental health, representation, social equity, recovery, and more of the every day, inner workings of musicians and songwriters we know and love. In the new home of Song Summit, Labs will take place indoors at the\u00a0Jim Santy Auditorium\u00a0at the\u00a0Park City Library. A full list of Labs can also be found below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As in years past,\u00a0late-night Main Street shows\u00a0take patrons out of the park and onto Park City\u2019s legendary Main Street. These are separately ticketed performances, and this year\u2019s Main Street venue is\u00a0The Marquis. Kicking things off on\u00a0Thursday night\u00a0will be an evening with\u00a0Duane Betts and Palmetto Motel\u00a0followed by\u00a0Marcus King + Eric Krasno. Friday night,\u00a0Cimafunk and Pedrito Martinez\u00a0will bring the funk to Main Street with a celebration of Cuban\/Latin music, and Saturday night will feature the extraordinary dance\/house music queen,\u00a0LP Giobbi, to close out this year\u2019s festival.<\/p>\n

Park City Song Summit is the brainchild of Ben Anderson, Park City resident and lifetime musician\/founding member of the jam band Aiko.
