Hallmark Channel\u2019s Providence Falls trilogy<\/a> wrapped everything up in a nice, magical, angel-approved bow, but viewers still have questions \u2014 like did every scene make the cut? And is it the last fans will see of Cora, Liam and Finn?<\/p>\n

Executive producer JoAnna Garcia Swisher<\/strong><\/a> exclusively told Us Weekly that there was one romantic moment that didn\u2019t end up in the final movie, which aired on Saturday, August 16.<\/p>\n

Warning: Spoilers below from the Providence Falls trilogy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During Providence Falls: Thief of Fate<\/a>, Cora McLeod (Katie Stevens<\/strong><\/a>) finally gets her memories back from her time with Liam O\u2019Conner (Lachlan Quarmby<\/strong>) in 1844 Ireland. In that moment, she reveals to Liam that she knows they were in love and forces him to tell her exactly what is happening.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tProvidence Falls breaks the Hallmark Channel mold by depicting steamy love scenes minutes into the first movie \u2014 and for the stars, that was both exciting and challenging. \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, go off Hallmark. People are going to be very excited about this,\u2019\u201d Katie Stevens exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, July 30, when [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The pair lie under the stars \u2014 like they did in 1844 before Cora\u2019s untimely death \u2014 and Liam reveals that he was sent to modern-day Oregon to help her fulfill her destiny of being with her \u201csoulmate\u201d Finn Walsh (Evan Roderick<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked in great length about all of the different moments<\/a> and really sort of the bigger picture of that moment where he was laying there really kind of filling her in as their stargazing,\u201d Swisher, 45, recalled to Us of shooting that pivotal scene. \u201cHe has all of the memories, and you know, she\u2019s like, \u2018It\u2019s unfair that you know what it feels like to kiss me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The producer paused for a minute, realizing, \u201cI actually don\u2019t even know if that line made the cut,\u201d which it did not. Instead, Liam held on tight to Cora and told her, \u201cI\u2019d spend every second of my life touching you if I could.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAs the executive producer, JoAnna Garcia Swisher had a front row seat to the making of Hallmark\u2019s Providence Falls trilogy \u2014 and she\u2019s breaking down what\u2019s to come just for Us. Under Swisher\u2019s guidance, the three Providence Falls movies sidestepped Hallmark Channel\u2019s unwritten PDA rules \u2014 where the kiss usually comes at the end of [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cora ultimately chooses Liam as her true love<\/a> after he sacrifices himself to save both her and Finn from a corrupt police officer in the woods. Because of his bravery and Cora making her destiny her own, the angels allow him to stay in modern times. (Finn, meanwhile, falls for Cora\u2019s BFF Suzette Deveraux, played by Felicia Simone<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

Liam and Cora end the trilogy by expanding Cora\u2019s Second Chances nonprofit that helps kids turn their lives around. After they are married, Liam asks, \u201cWhat\u2019s next for us?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are all bubbling with ways to continue these stories, if not through Cora and Liam\u2019s eyes, perhaps the eyes of maybe Katie and Lachlan find new shoes to fill,\u201d Swisher told Us of a possible expansion of the movies. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be very hard to not wanna see all three of these beautiful stars of our film together again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stevens, 32, and Quarmby are also on board with the idea of telling more of Cora and Liam\u2019s love story.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think there\u2019s definitely more that we could do for sure,\u201d Quarmby exclusively told Us last month. \u201cEspecially with the Angels getting involved. It\u2019s limitless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stevens revealed, \u201cI would love selfishly to do stuff back in Ireland<\/a> because that portion of filming was so magical. I\u2019m like, \u2018Let\u2019s do it again.\u2019 But we could go back in time and stay there for longer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bold Type alum<\/a> shared her vision for another trilogy, telling Us, \u201cI\u2019ve always thought of them going back to Ireland because the angels tell them that something happened in Ireland that they have to go back and fix, but that they\u2019ll be allowed to keep their memories.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stevens continued, \u201cBut then something happens because Agon [the angel who was Liam\u2019s case agent] is Agon and when they go back, Liam doesn\u2019t have his modern-day memories. Only Cora does. So then it\u2019s like the switch of this.\u201d<\/p>\n
