The 153rd Colorado State Fair<\/a> begins Friday, Aug. 22, and runs through Monday, Sept 1.<\/p>\n This year’s fair will feature performances<\/a> by Grammy Award-winning artists, one of the world’s most well-known stand-up comedians, country music icons and much more.<\/p>\n The Big R Stores Arena and Southwest Motors Events Center will host a variety of musical acts in addition to rodeo events, a monster truck tour, and a demolition derby.<\/p>\n Here’s who’s performing at the 2025 Colorado State Fair, and where you can catch their performances.<\/p>\n The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rodeo at the Big R Arena will feature country music performances on the first weekend of the fair.<\/p>\n On Friday, Aug. 22, Cooper Alan, known for hits like his 2024 single “Feel Like Hell,” will perform after the 7 p.m. rodeo. Lee Brice, whose catalogue includes his 2024 single “Drinking buddies,” will take the stage after the rodeo on Saturday, Aug. 23, and on Sunday, Aug. 24, Clay Walker will perform songs like his 2021 hit “Need a bar sometimes” after the 5 p.m. rodeo.<\/p>\n The PRCA will also hold a regular rodeo with no concert at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25.<\/p>\n The following weekend, the arena will host monster truck events on the evening of Friday, Aug. 29, and the afternoon of Saturday, Aug. 30. The arena will also host a demolition derby starting at 7 p.m. that evening.<\/p>\n On the evening of Sunday, Aug. 31, which is the fair’s annual Fiesta Day, the Big R Arena will host the Celebration de los Charros, known as the “ballet of horses.”<\/p>\n “This stunning display of horsemanship and culture brings the rich tradition of the Mexican rodeo to the heart of Colorado,” Colorado Department of Agriculture officials wrote in an event announcement earlier this year. “Capping off the festivities, Los Huracanes del Norte will take the stage to close out Fiesta Day with an electrifying performance that celebrates the spirit and sound of the community.”<\/p>\n The Southwest Motors Events Center will also host a variety of events, including comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias on Sunday, Aug. 24.<\/p>\n Iglesias is one of the highest-grossing touring comedians of all time and is a state fair favorite in Pueblo. He has released four Netflix comedy specials and is also the producer and star of the Netflix series \u201cMr. Iglesias.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n At 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, the “My Generation Tour” starring The Lovin\u2019 Spoonful, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, and The Hollies Greatest Hits with Terry Sylvester, is set to take the stage. The show will take fairgoers on a trip back to the 1960s.<\/p>\n Lovin’ Spoonful will share some of its top hits, including “Do You Believe in Magic,” “Summer in the City,” and “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind.” Gary Lewis and the Playboys is a 1960s band known for the chart-topping favorite, \u201cThis Diamond Ring,\u201d which sold more than 1 million copies.<\/p>\n Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, The Hollies have made nonstop music since the British Invasion. This band will rock to its hits from the late 1960s and early 1970s, including favorites like “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother,” and “The Air That I Breathe.”<\/p>\n At 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, Flo Rida, known for party anthems such as \u201cLow,\u201d \u201cRight Round,\u201d \u201cClub Can\u2019t Handle Me,\u201d and \u201cMy House,” will perform with special guest Chamillionaire.<\/p>\n Flo Rida has produced four studio albums and received three Grammy Award nominations between 2009 and 2013. Chamillionaire is a Grammy-winning artist who won the award for best rap performance by a duo or group in 2007 for the song “Ridin” performed with Krayzie Bone.<\/p>\n On Saturday, Aug. 30, country pop artist Russell Dickerson will take the stage at 7 p.m. to perform singles such as “Yours,” “She Likes It,” “Blue Tacoma,” and “God Gave Me a Girl.” The performance will feature special guest Drew Green, known for his 2020 album “Dirt Boy.”<\/p>\n On Sunday, Aug. 31, hair rock band Cheap Trick will perform ’70s and ’80s hits such as “Surrender,” “Dream Police,” and “The Flame.”<\/p>\n The band will take the stage at 7 p.m.Cheap Trick’s performance is sponsored by the Colorado Lottery.<\/p>\n Starting June 9 through Aug. 31 (or while supplies last), when you purchase\u00a0$30 or more on a single ticket\u00a0of any eligible Lottery game, you’ll score a\u00a0free voucher\u00a0good for\u00a0gate admission and concert entry\u00a0to see Cheap Trick live at the Fairgrounds.
