Joe Perry still thinks Aerosmith has a final show left in them, but it likely won\u2019t be a part of a farewell concert tour. In August 2025, the founding guitarist spoke out to WBUR<\/a>,<\/em> where he reiterated that his longtime band could take the stage for a one-off grand finale.<\/p>\n \u201cI would bet that there\u2019s an Aerosmith show left,\u201d Perry, 74, told the outlet one year after the beloved rock band announced their retirement from touring.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been spending a lot of time with Steven [Tyler], and he just doesn\u2019t want to tour and he can\u2019t tour,\u201d Perry added of the band’s legendary lead singer. “It\u2019s tough. I\u2019m not sure I would want to go out and book another 40-city tour. It\u2019s a long way to the top, and staying there takes it out of you, especially an Aerosmith tour.”<\/p>\n Perry also addressed the possibility of a residency as Aerosmith did several years ago with their Deuces are Wild<\/em> shows at the Park Theater in Las Vegas, the Borgata in Atlantic City, and several other residency venues.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll never say never,” Perry said, adding, “But I wouldn\u2019t bet on it, no pun intended. You really have to want to be out there, and we\u2019re all at that point of: How do you want to live?
