The Italian-born powerhouse blends the drive of\u00a0Irish traditional music\u00a0and\u00a0bluegrass\u00a0with the\u00a0heart of Appalachian folk, all seasoned with unmistakable\u00a0Italian flair.<\/p>\n

Formed in 2024, the band reunited three masterful musicians from Italy\u2019s folk scene with\u00a0Enda Scahill\u2014tenor banjo virtuoso and founder of\u00a0We Banjo 3\u2014and, in 2025, added\u00a0Eric Long, a Pennsylvania-born clawhammer banjoist now based in San Francisco, enriching the band\u2019s transatlantic sound.<\/p>\n

Gadan\u2019s arsenal includes\u00a0three banjos\u00a0(tenor and clawhammer),\u00a0fiddle,\u00a0mandolin,\u00a0bouzouki, and\u00a0guitar, crafting a mesmerizing, strings-only experience\u2014no drums required. Their performances are a masterclass in rhythmic intensity and musical synergy.<\/p>\n
