RZA<\/a> has shared that he would love for Rihanna<\/a> and ASAP Rocky<\/a> to continue the tradition of naming their children after Wu Tang-Clan<\/a> members.<\/p>\n While the couple took a detour in naming their second child, Riot Rose<\/a>, 1, their first child, RZA Athelaston Mayers<\/a>, 3, is named after Wu-Tang’s de facto leader.<\/p>\n The hip-hop-inspired names are a tradition for Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, named after pioneering MC Rakim<\/a>. The name of his younger sister, Erica B. OBD, because you know the legend must live on,” RZA said about his late cousin and rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard<\/a>.<\/p>\n While fans wait to see if the couple names their third child after Dirt McGirt, RZA told celebrity.land<\/a> in 2023 that it was a “great honor” for little RZA to carry his name.<\/p>\n “RZA isn\u2019t only a name, it\u2019s a title. So it\u2019s an honor and I salute her and ASAP and their family.
