in an Instagram video<\/a> on Saturday, August 16, when a listener wrote in about being \u201cready to leave\u201d a relationship and asking for \u201chelp\u201d getting out. Stone said the note made her \u201ctake a breath\u201d when she read it, knowing the answer couldn\u2019t wait until her next podcast.<\/p>\nIn a series of follow-up videos posted on Sunday, August 17, Stone shared advice for the listener, saying \u201chaving a plan\u201d for how to leave \u201cis a really good idea.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stone then revealed that she experienced a similar situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had tried to leave him, I can\u2019t tell you how many times,\u201d Stone said of the past relationship, not revealing the identity of her then-partner. \u201cEach time it felt like it was getting more and more dangerous. One day, he threw me out \u2014 surprising how strong he was, he wasn\u2019t that tall.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stone claimed that he \u201cthrew me out in the rain\u201d when she was wearing nothing more than a T-shirt.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe thought that he\u2019d locked the gate and that I was stuck in the driveway, and I didn\u2019t know the code to get out. He just thought he\u2019d sort of trapped me in the rain,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI did know the code.\u201d<\/p>\n
Once she opened the gate, Stone recalled thinking \u201cthere\u2019s no way he can hurt me\u201d and ran away from the house.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy feet were killing me, getting ripped up by the bloody concrete,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019m running and I\u2019m thinking, \u2018I\u2019m going to get to the end of this road,\u2019 and I don\u2019t have anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\nStone \u201ckept running\u201d but didn\u2019t have her phone. Eventually, Stone realized \u201cthat f***er was running after me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was so annoying,\u201d she added. \u201cAnyway, he did catch me and did tell me that the police were going to come and arrest me and all that stuff. It was all a load of bulls***.\u201d<\/p>\n
