This film follows &#8220;Detroit: The City of Chefs,&#8221; which premiered in December 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The film&#8217;s premiere will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at Emagine Novi, 44425 W. 12 Mile Road. Also, a highlight of the film is the role of Michigan chefs in culinary competitions and the state&#8217;s high concentration of Certified Master Chefs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to the film&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/1045503440\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:trailer;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">trailer<\/a>, chefs and restaurateurs featured include Schmidt and culinary arts instructors. The film also features interviews with current metro Detroit chefs and restaurateurs, James Rigato of Mabel Gray, Mike Ransom of Ima, and Anthony Lombardo of SheWolf. Also highlighted is the role and impact of metro Detroit&#8217;s culinary arts schools, including Schoolcraft College with its many master chef instructors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A third installment, &#8220;Detroit: The City of Chefs III,&#8221; is in the works.
