Gal Gadot<\/a> is opening up about why she believes Disney\u2019s live-action \u201cSnow White\u201d remake stumbled at the box office.<\/p>\n The Israeli actress and model recently appeared on the Israeli TV program \u201cThe A Talks\u201d \u2014 a show where guests are interviewed by individuals on the autism spectrum \u2014 where she reflected on the film\u2019s performance. As reported by Variety<\/a>, Gadot suggested that political pressures in Hollywood, particularly surrounding the Israel\u2013Palestine conflict, played a role in the film\u2019s reception.<\/p>\n Gadot first addressed rumors of tension with her co-star Rachel Zegler. \u201cI have to say, first off, I really enjoyed filming this movie. Really enjoyed it,\u201d she said, before the interviewer interjected, \u201cEspecially when it wasn\u2019t with Rachel Zegler.\u201d Gadot pushed back on that suggestion: \u201cI even enjoyed working with Rachel Zegler. We laughed, we talked and had fun. And, you know, it happened.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI can always explain and try to give context about what\u2019s happening here. And I always do that. But in the end, people make their own decisions. And I was disappointed that the movie was incredibly affected by all of that and that it didn\u2019t do well at the box office. But that\u2019s how it goes.
