Joe Giudice<\/strong> is getting candid about how much money he dished out in the early days of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.<\/em><\/p>\n On Monday, August 18, the former reality TV personality, 53, who was married to housewife Teresa Giudice<\/strong> from 1999 to 2020, appeared on daughter Gia Giudice\u2019s<\/strong> Casual Chaos<\/a><\/em> podcast and revealed some shocking numbers. <\/p>\n \u201cI think the first year, we had that big party in my great room,\u201d he recalled. \u201cI think that show cost me $150,000 the first year.\u201d<\/p>\n The first season of RHONJ <\/em>aired in 2009, and Teresa, 53, has been a cast member on all 14 seasons. <\/p>\n \u201cWe got paid nothing the first season,\u201d the Bravo star admitted. \u201cI\u2019ll even say, it was like $25,000. I mean, it was ridiculous, but whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n Gia, 24, chimed in and explained how the housewives across all the franchises are supposed to be \u201cdisplaying their lives and the parties and the glam.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you\u2019re throwing parties and stuff like that, especially for the first season, you\u2019re putting in more money than you\u2019re actually getting out of it,\u201d she noted. \u201cSo obviously, you know, you grow and make your way and make your name.\u201d <\/p>\n Teresa and Joe \u2014 who also share daughters Gabriella<\/strong>, 20, Milania<\/strong>, 19, and Audriana<\/strong>, 15 \u2014 have had many financial issues in the past. <\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/staging.starmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/MEGA713716_052-scaled.jpg\")
