She is the latest star attached to a new Hulu project, and it reunites her with This Is Us<\/em> show creator Dan Fogelman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n According to Deadline<\/em><\/a>, Fogelman is working on a new show for Hulu that does not yet have a title. The media outlet noted that Moore’s character is named Lauren, and her father is an owner of an NFL team.<\/p>\n William H. Macy<\/strong> from Shameless<\/em> has been cast as Moore’s father, Hank Durkin. Law & Order: SVU<\/em> star Christopher Meloni<\/strong> has been tapped to play Danny Roarke, the NFL team’s head coach.<\/p>\n Fogelman shared the news of Moore’s addition to the cast via his Instagram page<\/a> and fans went wild over it.<\/p>\n One comment read<\/a>, “Mandy + NFL + Dan Fogelman?!! Very grateful and can’t wait to get to work!”<\/p>\n As Deadline <\/em>noted, 20th Television is collaborating with Skydance Sports on the series. Jess Rosenthall is an executive producer, and he also worked with Moore and Fogelman on This Is Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n Moore starred as family matriarch Rebecca Pearson throughout the six season run of This Is Us<\/a><\/em>. After the series ended in 2022, Fogelman signed a big deal with Hulu. Another project of his, Paradise<\/em>, stars Moore’s This Is Us<\/em> co-star Sterling K.
