Chris Pratt<\/a> thinks some people would rather fumble progress than see President Donald Trump<\/a> and his administration succeed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He didn\u2019t waste time taking a dig at Kennedy\u2019s and Trump\u2019s critics, however, telling Maher, \u201cI\u2019d hate to be so mired in hatred for the president that any success from his administration is something I\u2019d be having an allergic reaction to.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As Pratt urged everyone to \u201cbe reasonable,\u201d he mocked his ideological opposites with an imaginary example exaggerating their supposed stubbornness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cTo be like, \u2018Oh, well, if they do it, I don\u2019t want it to happen. I\u2019ll put Clorox in my children\u2019s cereal myself!\u2019\u201d he said in a silly voice. \u201cBe reasonable here. There\u2019s certain things that would be a good thing to have. I want them all to be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Elsewhere during the interview, the devoutly Christian \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d actor compared the \u201cnasty business\u201d of politics to Hollywood. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a certain level of this in Hollywood because … I\u2019ve seen how the person you are can be such a contrast to the person that people being are told that you are, and you can go, \u2018Wow, that is pure fiction,\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Pratt told Maher he prefers to stay out of the drama instead of giving it any extra attention, however.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
