\u201cJames Bond has to be James Bond, otherwise it becomes something else,\u201d she argued.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Revealing how Bond\u2019s trademark chauvinism never appealed to her, she said, \u201cThe whole series of James Bond, it was not my thing. It really wasn\u2019t. I never liked James Bond. I never liked the way women were in James Bond.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe whole concept of James Bond is drenched and born out of profound sexism,\u201d she went on, telling the paper that there were plenty of \u201creal stories about extraordinary women\u201d who\u2019ve worked in British intelligence that would make better material.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
