Betty White<\/a> made a splash on the Bones<\/a> set, particularly when she met stars David Boreanaz<\/a> and Emily Deschanel<\/a> for the first time.<\/p>\n \u201cShe showed up in the diner. They drive her in and put her \u2014 Ms. White \u2014 [they] usher her in. And she says hello to everybody,\u201d Boreanaz shared at the Bones: 20th Anniversary Retrospective panel at the Televerse Festival on Saturday, August 16, per People<\/a>. \u201cAnd Emily and I are waiting for her. And she\u2019s like, \u2018Good to see you. Oh, good to see you. You\u2019re so nice. You\u2019re so pretty.\u2019 She goes up to Emily \u2014 \u2018Oh, you\u2019re so pretty.’\u201d<\/p>\n As for his own introduction with White, Boreanaz recalled, \u201cShe looks at me, she goes, \u2018Holy s***, I want to f**k you. I want to f**k you!\u2019 I just started laughing.\u201d<\/p>\n During the panel, Deschanel noted that she did not remember the NSFW interaction herself. \u201cI\u2019m not saying it didn\u2019t happen, I\u2019m saying I didn\u2019t hear that, but that\u2019s amazing,\u201d the actress stated, going on to call White a \u201clegendary potty mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n White made her debut as Dr. Beth Mayer on Season 11 of Bones in 2015. She returned as the character for an episode during the show\u2019s 12th and final season in 2017. The latter appearance marked one of her last acting credits before her death at the age of 99 in 2021.<\/p>\n Betty White and Emily Deschanel on Season 11, Episode 4, of ‘Bones,’ October 2015.<\/p>\n \u00a920th Century Fox Film Corp. \/ courtesy Everett Collection<\/p>\n Bones, which ran for 12 seasons on Fox from 2005 to 2017, followed Deschanel\u2019s Dr. Temperance \u201cBones\u201d Brennan as she teamed up with Boreanaz\u2019s FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth to solve crimes.<\/p>\n White followed up her second Bones episode with guest roles on shows such as Young & Hungry<\/a>, Fireside Chat with Esther, and Forky Asks a Question<\/a>, and appeared in films such as Toy Story 4<\/a> and Trouble.<\/p>\n After Bones\u2018 conclusion, Boreanaz went on to star as Jason Hayes in all seven seasons of CBS\u2019s SEAL Team<\/a> from 2017 to 2024. Deschanel, meanwhile, has appeared on shows such as The Simpsons<\/a>, Drunk History<\/a>, Animal Kingdom<\/a>, The Rookie<\/a>, and Devil in Ohio<\/a>. She also launched the Bones rewatch podcast, Boneheads, with costar Carla Gallo<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n Deschanel and Gallo weighed in on the idea of a potential Bones revival in a September 2024 interview with TV Insider<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t know if that would ever happen, but I\u2019d be interested if the right idea came up,\u201d Deschanel shared. \u201cBut I think they\u2019d probably have younger people playing younger versions.\u201d<\/p>\n Deschanel also revealed where she thinks her and Boreanaz\u2019s characters would be now, telling TV Insider, \u201cI think that maybe they\u2019re off somewhere having an adventure with their kids and like, they\u2019re in Morocco and they stumble upon a murder and they have to solve it. Also, I\u2019d love to go to Morocco but that\u2019s just a side thing.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBones: Morocco, Bones, the reboot in Morocco. Like a CSI<\/a>,\u201d Gallo quipped, to which Deschanel added, \u201cBones: Paris, too. I think they\u2019re traveling. Brennan traveled a lot before she was at the Jeffersonian. She\u2019s a cultural anthropologist as well as a forensic anthropologist. I think they\u2019d be traveling and murders just happen and they have to solve them together. That\u2019s where I see them, living a fun, adventurous life together.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/span><\/div>\n
