Noah Wyle Takes on New Role With Exciting \u2018The Pitt\u2019 Update<\/a> originally appeared on Parade<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n Fans of Noah Wyle<\/a><\/strong> and his hit medical drama The Pitt<\/a><\/em> just got double the good news with the latest show announcement, as Wyle will be taking on a second role behind the camera as a director in Season 2.<\/p>\n Wyle recently announced at the Televerse 2025 festival, as reported by Variety<\/a><\/em>, that he will be directing the sixth episode of the upcoming second season of The Pitt<\/em>.<\/p>\n Sharing an update on how production is going on the new episodes, he said, “We are just about finished with episode five. We start episode six on Tuesday.”<\/p>\n “I feel prepped, which is what you want to feel. He then went on to direct five episodes of The Librarians<\/em> between 2015 and 2018. The show originally premiered in 2014 and ran for four seasons.<\/p>\n The 54-year-old took a break from directing work for a few years, returning in 2021 to direct five episodes of the ongoing series Leverage: Redemption,<\/em> which he also acts in as the character Harry Wilson. The show, which is a reboot of the hit TV series Leverage<\/em>, has not been renewed or canceled yet after its third season.<\/p>\n After The Pitt<\/em> premiered on HBO Max in January of this year and became an instant hit, fans have been eagerly awaiting any update about the upcoming second season.
