Project Runway<\/a><\/strong> is in full swing! Designers are showcasing their impressive designs to the world. Fans are happy the show is back, but they are divided when it comes to the new judge. Law Roach<\/a><\/strong> offers very strong critiques, and some fans think he\u2019s being way too hard on the contestants.<\/p>\n Season 21 of the popular reality design competition premiered in July and it\u2019s already making waves. The show, now on Freeform<\/a>, is firing on all cylinders and even though it\u2019s just started, fans are already making predictions, picking faves, and giving their feedback on the judges.<\/p>\n One judge getting his own feedback from fans is Law. He joined the judging panel alongside Heidi Klum (in her triumphant return<\/a>) and Nina Garcia<\/a>, along with fun celebrity guest judges<\/a>. The celebrity stylist has an impressive roster of A-list clients and some controversial opinions.<\/p>\n Most fans remember that judges usually give constructive criticism on the show. Even when pointing out things that may be wrong, they tended to do so in a positive way. This is why some of Law\u2019s comments raised eyebrows.<\/p>\n On the premiere episode, Law already made contestant Jesus Estrada cry after he said he \u201chated\u201d the look, despite Jesus being in the top three. Law said he disliked it, and Jesus responded, \u201cI\u2019m sorry you hated the coat.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI hated the whole thing!\u201d Law interrupted him, causing Jesus to start crying. Nina gave him flattering feedback on his piece. But Law wasn\u2019t having that.<\/p>\n \u201cI have to disagree with everything Nina said,\u201d Law said.<\/p>\n On the third episode, Law expressed disdain for Ethan Mundt\u2019s entire team<\/a> and denim \u201cshowstopper\u201d collection. \u201cI\u2019m really pissed off about this collection,\u201d he said. \u201cI did not come here to look at a bunch of ugly f*cking clothes.\u201d<\/p>\n To be fair, he has given good feedback too. The negative though is what fans are picking up on most, likening him to Simon Cowell in American Idol\u2019s earlier seasons. Some fans like his brutal honesty, while others think he is going way too far.<\/p>\n \u201cHard pass on Law. He\u2019s rude,\u201d one said.
