Sarah Ferguson shared a heartfelt message with royal fans as she marked a special day.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of York – who was married to Prince Andrew – said she was ‘filled with gratitude and hope’.<\/p>\n

She urged others to ‘offer compassion’ as she marked World Humanitarian Day.<\/p>\n

Her message came amid reports she had travelled to Balmoral in Scotland after an invite from King Charles.<\/p>\n

King Charles and Queen Camilla started their summer residency at Balmoral this week.<\/p>\n

It is tradition for members of the Royal Family<\/a> to spend time together in Scotland during the summer.<\/p>\n

It was understood Sarah and her ex-husband Andrew travelled to Scotland to join Charles and Camilla.<\/p>\n

On Instagram, Sarah said: “Today on World Humanitarian Day, I\u2019m filled with gratitude and hope.<\/p>\n

“Over the decades, I\u2019ve travelled across continents – from delivering aid to Afghan and Ukrainian refugees, brought essential supplies to NHS<\/a> workers through @sarahs_trust_ and championed education for children via Children in Crisis educating over 1.4 million children and building 57 schools.<\/p>\n

“As I stand alongside inspiring young activists through @glblctzn and the @youthimpactcouncil, I\u2019m reminded of one simple truth: that small acts of kindness can spark extraordinary change.<\/p>\n

“My wish for the future? That we all become bridges between generations, communities and dreams.<\/p>\n

“So together, let\u2019s continue to offer compassion, lift up young voices, and nurture a more hopeful, and inclusive world for all.”<\/p>\n

Sarah’s Trust was launched in 2020 to connect philanthropists with charities needing funding and support.<\/p>\n
