He also faces accusations of abusing a woman&#8211; who he was formerly dating&#8211; issuing death threats, vandalism, violating restraining orders, and traffic offenses. His legal troubles first emerged in 2024 after an arrest linked to domestic violence, leading to a broader investigation that uncovered allegations dating back to 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Marius Borg H\u00f8iby is the son of  Crown Princess Mette-Marit from a previous relationship, before she married Crown Prince Haakon, who is the heir to the Norwegian throne. And so, H\u00f8iby holds no royal title. However, being a member of the Norwegian royal family makes this scandal significant.
