The project explores themes such as women\u2019s empowerment, peace, resilience, unity, and the fight against gender-based violence. Some of the featured musicians are Ang\u00e9lique Kidjo<\/a> (Benin), Wiyaala<\/a> (Ghana), Pheelz<\/a> (Nigeria), Ah Moon (Myanmar), Mashall Muze<\/a> (Nigeria), Giuliana Potenza (Agentina), Chylde<\/a> (Nigeria), JyellowL (Nigeria\/Ireland), Chris Kabs (Congo\/Ireland), Johnson Amezuke (Ghana), Abiana<\/a> (Ghana), Joyce Babatunde<\/a> (Cameroon), Naimah<\/a> (South Africa) and Pesa Bazz (Congo).<\/p>\n One of the singles from the record, \u2018Stay Together,\u2019 is a collaboration with Pheelz, Mashall Muze, Naimah and Ella Rose. The track was re-produced and released with a video as part of the album\u2019s promotion.<\/p>\n For the album, Beyond Music invited artists to submit original work under the theme \u201cBest Songs for Social Change\u201d. The initiative attracted 754 participants from 108 countries, resulting in 199 song submissions using 472 instruments.<\/p>\n A jury that included Ang\u00e9lique Kidjo, Pheelz and Wiyaala selected the winning entries. The top three teams collaborated with the guest artists to re-produce their tracks in professional studios. Their singles were accompanied by music videos and international promotion. The songs will also be submitted for consideration in the Grammy Awards\u2019 \u201cBest Song for Social Change\u201d category.<\/p>\n An additional 20 artists received awards totalling $85 000. Their songs were mastered and released alongside the winning entries on Beyond Music Vol. 4 \u2013 Social Change<\/em>.<\/p>\n The album is now available for streaming and download<\/a> on major digital platforms.<\/p>\n
