The post Paz Lenchantin (Pixies, A Perfect Circle) Announces Debut Album, Unveils \u201cHang Tough\u201d Featuring Josh Freese and Troy Van Leeuwen<\/a> appeared first on Consequence<\/a>.<\/p>\n Paz Lenchantin, former bassist of Pixies<\/a> and A Perfect Circle<\/a>, has announced her debut solo album, titled Triste<\/em>. Ahead of the LP\u2019s October 17th release, she has unveiled the lead single, \u201cHang Tough,\u201d featuring drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, ex-Foo Fighters), guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age), and musician Jeffertiti (Father John Misty).<\/p>\n According to a press release, the album blends \u201cLatin folk textures with American rock structures,\u201d and features Lenchantin playing every instrument aside from the contributions from the guest musicians. Two of those contributors \u2014 Freese and Van Leeuwen \u2014 were bandmates with Lenchantin in A Perfect Circle.<\/p>\n Lenchantin wrote most of the songs in Petatl\u00e1n, Mexico, where she had spent her time after the Pixies parted ways with her<\/a> in early 2024.
