Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>\u2018s dogs may be famous enough now to grace the cover of Dogue<\/em>, but first and foremost, they\u2019ll always be woman\u2019s best friend.<\/p>\n On Monday (Aug. 18), the pop star and Vogue<\/a> <\/em>jointly announced that Carpenter\u2019s two pups, Goodwin and Louie, are cover stars for the publication\u2019s ongoing dog-focused series. \u201cMy dogs\u2019 first dogue cover,\u201d the performer wrote, sharing the issue on her Instagram Story.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n On the Dogue<\/em> cover, the two canines pose with their tongues out while riding a white miniature Mercedes-Benz, modeling kerchiefs specially ordered for the occasion by Carpenter\u2019s mom. \u201cThey can\u2019t go on walks without getting stopped anymore \u2026 egos have substantially grown,\u201d the Grammy winner also quipped. \u201cWish me luck.\u201d<\/p>\n Goodwin and Louie aren\u2019t the only celebrity fur babies who are part of Dogue<\/em>\u2018s latest cover series. ROS\u00c9 of BLACKPINK\u2019s terrier Hank is also featured this issue, as are Maluma\u2019s Dobermans, Buda and Karma, and Siberian huskies Bonnie and Clyde.<\/p>\n In an interview with Vogue<\/em>, Carpenter shared some of her favorite things about her pups. At 14-years-old, Goodwin \u2014 named after one of the singer-actress\u2019 first gigs, a role on quickly scrapped series The Goodwin Games <\/em>\u2014 has been with the musician since she first kicked off her career starring on Disney Channel\u2019s Girl Meets World<\/em> in 2014.<\/p>\n One-year-old Louie is newer to the Carpenter family, but he already has a nickname for when he misbehaves. \u201cWhen he\u2019s being bad, I call him Lucifer, but most of the time I just call him LouLou,\u201d Carpenter told Vogue<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis sounds clich\u00e9, but their best quality \u2014 both of them \u2014 is just how genuinely loving and adoring they are,\u201d she added of her pups. \u201cGoodwin is really empathetic. He just knows when you\u2019re sick and not feeling well. His eyes are humanlike. He\u2019s got a lot of emotion; he has a lot of stories. Louie\u2019s most humanlike quality would probably be his ears. They\u2019re so attuned. He\u2019s such a good listener.\u201d<\/p>\n The musician\u2019s collaboration with Vogue <\/em>comes at a fitting time, considering the dog-themed aesthetics of her fast-approaching new album, Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/em>.
