While Meghann Fahy grew up in Massachusetts, there\u2019s one local destination<\/a> the Emmy-nominated actress did not visit until much later in life.<\/p>\n

The Longmeadow native recently told Seth Meyers<\/a> she couldn\u2019t afford to go to Nantucket until she got a role in Netflix\u2019s \u201cThe Perfect Couple,\u201d which aired in 2024.<\/p>\n

While the mystery series was mostly filmed on Cape Cod<\/a>, Fahy used her downtime to take a ferry over to the island.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe pull in, and immediately I was like, \u2018Oh! That\u2019s why I\u2019ve never been to Nantucket,\u2019\u201d Fahy told Meyers. \u201cI was too poor then, and I am still too poor now. This place is crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meyers, who grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire, then told Fahy that he\u2019s a frequent visitor to nearby Martha\u2019s Vineyard.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look like you go there,\u201d Fahy shot back at the late night host.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like how you\u2019re answering my \u2018Are you a classic New Englander?\u2019 by the way you\u2019re asking these questions,\u201d Meyers replied.<\/p>\n

All joke aside, Meyers gave Fahy an open invite to visit him and his family on Martha\u2019s Vineyard.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not Nantucket,\u201d Meyers said. \u201cWe\u2019re way more laid back.\u201d<\/p>\n
