Tamar Braxton<\/a><\/span><\/strong> is on the road to recovery after experiencing a frightening injury.<\/p>\n \u201cI struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can\u2019t even really talk anymore I\u2019m so weak,\u201d Braxton, 48, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 19. \u201cI almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.\u201d<\/p>\n Since the initial injuries, Braxton \u2014 who shares son Logan, 12, with ex Vincent Herbert<\/strong> \u2014 said she is facing further complications with her mental and physical health.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the days go by, the worse it is,\u201d she continued. \u201cI fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the Caught in the Act: Double Life<\/i> host, the incident has reshaped the way she looks at life around her.<\/p>\n \u201cThe way I look at life now is totally different,\u201d she explained. \u201cAs my health is on the mend, my mental journey begins. Pray for me for real. I don\u2019t even know what happened to me.\u201d<\/p>\n Us Weekly<\/i> has reached out to Braxton\u2019s rep for further comment.<\/p>\n Before sharing a health update, Braxton also posted a quote from the Instagram account Trust God Bro that stated<\/span><\/a>: \u201cThank you God for waking me up today.\u201d<\/p>\n Braxton has been open with fans about her health struggles over the years. Recently, the reality star joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i><\/a> star Cynthia Bailey<\/strong> to discuss their experiences with Uterine fibroids.<\/p>\n According to the Mayo Clinic<\/span><\/a>, Uterine fibroids are common growths of the uterus and are not cancerous.<\/p>\n \u201cIt would be to the point where I would feel nauseous,\u201d Braxton shared with ABC News<\/span><\/a> on August 11. \u201cCouldn\u2019t get out of bed and I would be exhausted and the exhaustion came from having extreme anemia.\u201d<\/p>\n In 2015, Braxton also had to drop out<\/span><\/a> of Dancing With the Stars<\/i><\/a> due to health reasons. Doctors discovered the contestant had blood clots and said she couldn\u2019t continue competing in the ABC show.<\/p>\n
