Seth Meyers<\/a> is mourning the loss of one of his most famous \u2014 and most adorable \u2014 family members.<\/p>\n The late-night host announced via Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, August 19, that his dog, Frisbee, had died at the age of 14. \u201c\u200b\u200bRIP to Frisbee, our OG IG who I was happy to go grey with,\u201d he captioned photos of himself and his pet from over the years. \u201cShe was at her best curled in your lap and patient when we dressed her up like a pilgrim. Thanks for 14 amazing years, girl.\u201d<\/p>\n The first slide of Meyers\u2019 Instagram carousel featured a sweet selfie of Frisbee licking his face, followed by a photo of Frisbee as a puppy and more pics of his beloved pet.<\/p>\n Several celebrities and fans offered their condolences in the post\u2019s comments. \u201cNoooo! Frisbeeee! sorry for your loss.<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n ,\u201d wrote Rachel Dratch<\/a>, while Retta<\/a> commented, \u201cAwwww Frisbeeeeeee.<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n .\u201d<\/p>\n Sarah Paulson<\/a> posted, \u201cOh Seth!!! Sending you all my love.\u201d Alyssa Milano<\/a> called losing a pet the \u201cworst pain ever,\u201d adding, \u201cI\u2019m sorry for your loss.\u201d<\/p>\n Other users were quick to point out Frisbee\u2019s long-standing feud with Andy Samberg<\/a>, who infamously expressed his dislike of Meyers\u2019 dog over the years. \u201cMay her ghost haunt Andy Samberg forever<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd\ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \u2665<\/p>\n ,\u201d one user quipped, while more pointed out that news of Frisbee\u2019s death came one day after Samberg\u2019s birthday. \u201cSo glad Frisbee stole Andy\u2019s birthday shine.<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n ,\u201d a different user joked.<\/p>\n Meyers brought up his dog in conversation on Late Night with Seth Meyers<\/a> many times over the years, particularly any time Samberg was a guest on the show. Meyers brought his dog on camera during a July 2020 virtual interview<\/a> with Samberg on the show, during which Frisbee hid her face in his shoulder.<\/p>\n \u201cLook how much she hates you. She hates you so much,\u201d Meyers quipped. Samberg went on to say, \u201cFrisbee, I just want to say, it\u2019s all in good fun.
