Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> revealed how a dinner at his house with Matt Damon and Damon\u2019s brother Kyle almost took a turn for the worse.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cMatt Damon was over at my house one night for dinner. I made pork ribs,\u201d the late-night talk show host shared in a Monday interview with Variety.<\/a> \u201cHe came late, was very hungry, and started eating fast.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Kimmel\u2019s culinary skills satiated Damon\u2019s appetite at the time, but his hunger got the best of him. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cHe started choking on a pork rib. It was stuck in his throat for about an hour and a half,\u201d the comedian revealed during what the outlet says was a previously \u201cuntold story.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cI said, \u2018We have got to get him to the hospital,\u2019 because if he dies in my house, I\u2019m going to prison for the rest of my life. I will never be able to explain this as anything other than a murder,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fortunately, things didn\u2019t go that far. Kimmel and Damon\u2019s brother quickly pivoted to a DIY problem-solving method. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe did a lot of YouTube-ing and finally concluded that eating little bits of bread was the way to get that rib to work its way down into his stomach \u2014 and bread saved him. We tried the Heimlich many times. It was too far down,\u201d Kimmel recalled. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He went on to criticize the current political climate in the U.S., calling it \u201cunbelievable.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
