Tom Sandoval<\/a> and his band, The Most Extras, made it to the quarterfinals of America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em><\/a> after an audition that impressed all four judges<\/a>; however, they weren\u2019t able to match that success on Tuesday\u2019s (August 19) first live show of Season 20.<\/p>\n The controversial Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> alum took to the stage on Tuesday\u2019s show to perform a rendition of \u201cBlinding Lights\u201d by The Weeknd. While judges Sofia Vergara<\/a>, Howie Mandel<\/a>, and Mel B<\/a> all seemed to be having a good time, fellow judge Simon Cowell<\/a> wasn\u2019t feeling it.<\/p>\n After hitting his red buzzer halfway through the performance, Cowell told Sandoval, \u201cIt didn\u2019t sound great\u2026 It might just be me, from where I sat, but that did not sound good, I\u2019m afraid. It didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n Sandoval defended himself, explaining, \u201cRight before I went on, my in-ears kinda went out, so I was flying in the dark there.\u201d<\/p>\n
