Martha Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra<\/strong>\u2019s loved ones are paying tribute to her after her death at age 33.<\/p>\n

\u201cMartha had a special way of lighting up every room she walked into, whether it was her signature \u2018Hi\u2019 or her famous hand gestures,\u201d her partner, Nicholas DiRubio, <\/strong>said at the Wednesday, August 20, service per the Irish Mirror<\/em><\/a>. \u201cOne couldn\u2019t help feel her positive presence in every space she entered.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued,\u00a0\u201cMartha had a way of putting people first. She loved helping people and many of you in this room have been lucky enough to experience that love, whether it was telling you to cop on or focus on the good in this life, or just being a shoulder to lean on. The shining light that Martha brought into this world is a reflection of everybody in this room. For friends, family, loved ones, both past and present, we\u2019ve all been lucky to have known Martha and we must live every day forward with her in our hearts. May she rest in peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her sister, Jacqui<\/strong>, called Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra her \u201cbuilt-in best friend,\u201d adding,\u00a0\u201cMartha, my beautiful sister, you taught me everything I needed to know in life. I didn\u2019t always see you, but I always knew you were there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra was honored at The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, at 10 a.m. The service was followed by a burial in St Mary\u2019s Cemetery, Carlow, according to Rip.ie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra\u2019s death was confirmed<\/a> on August 5 by the Suffolk County Police Department after a body was found on a boat at the Montauk Yacht Club just after midnight.<\/p>\n

The East Hampton Town Police reportedly received a 911 call about the discovery of an unconscious body, per ABC News. Authorities reported that some individuals on the scene attempted to revive Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra by CPR, with NBC News claiming that she was pronounced dead by first responders.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are saddened to learn of the tragic incident<\/a> that took place. Our team is cooperating with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation and remains committed to the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. We have no further comment at this time,\u201d a Montauk Yacht Club spokesperson told CBS.<\/p>\n

A preliminary investigation and examination were inconclusive about Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra\u2019s cause of death, authorities told NBC News. Police shared that an autopsy \u201cdid not show evidence of violence.\u201d Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra\u2019s final cause of death is pending further examination, per the outlet.<\/p>\n
