Julie Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> and Todd Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> insist there\u2019s nothing wrong with their marriage after returning home from prison.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be completely transparent, there is an adjustment period,\u201d Julie, 52, shared during the Wednesday, August 20, episode of their \u201cChrisley Confessions 2.0\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s not an adjustment period in our marriage, per se \u2014 it\u2019s just an adjustment period, back to life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd, 56, and Julie spent 28 months in prison after being convicted of tax evasion and bank and wire fraud in 2022. They were given a \u201cfull unconditional pardon\u201d<\/a> by President Donald Trump<\/strong> in May and were released from prison that month. (Todd teased that the family\u2019s upcoming docuseries<\/a> will offer a more in-depth look at their legal situation.)<\/p>\n

Todd made it clear that he and Julie haven\u2019t had \u201cany trouble reconnecting\u201d following their release.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, so the parts still worked. They still fit,\u201d he joked. \u201cIt\u2019s like plugging into the same station.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTodd and Julie Chrisley are getting real about life after prison. \u201cI\u2019ve actually talked to a few of the women that I was in prison with that they\u2019re already home, whatever,\u201d Julie, 52, said during the Wednesday, July 23, episode of their \u201cChrisley Confessions 2.0\u201d podcast. \u201cWe all have this general consensus that \u2014 it\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Julie also addressed comments about Todd \u201ccutting\u201d her off in the middle of a conversation during a previous episode.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, Todd and I have been together for 31 years. Trust me when I say I can stand my own ground,\u201d she said. \u201cI can stand with the best of them. I have stood with him for 31 years. No one needs to worry about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Julie said she\u2019s aware that her husband can \u201cget a little lippy sometimes\u201d and knows when to \u201cput him in his place.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust because you don\u2019t see it doesn\u2019t mean it doesn\u2019t happen,\u201d she continued. \u201cLet me just say that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Julie went back to explaining her and Todd\u2019s \u201cadjustment period\u201d post-prison.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t believe anyone can go through what we went through and think that you are not changed because you are. There are differences. You view things differently, you react differently. It is what it is,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve talked to many people who have been to prison. I\u2019ve talked to people that I was in prison with that have come home and have faced similar issues.\u201d<\/p>\n
