Brooke Hogan<\/strong><\/a> used actor Cillian Murphy<\/strong> to illustrate how her past continues to influence her present state of mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hogan, 37, took to her Instagram Story<\/a> on Tuesday, August 19, to share a video compilation of Murphy, 49, glaring at people with judgment in his eyes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen childhood trauma taught you to spot the snake in the grass before anyone else,\u201d the video was captioned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The post came nearly a month after the death of Brooke\u2019s father, legendary professional wrestler Hulk Hogan<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBrooke Hogan shut down speculation about her bereavement following the death of her father, Hulk Hogan. \u201cYeah, I love being in the spotlight crying about my deceased dad in a super low-key location,\u201d Brooke, 37, sarcastically wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 14, after photos were recently taken of her crying. \u201cDisrespectfully, \ud83d\udd95OFF.\u201d [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hulk died on July 24<\/a> after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. His cause of death was later ruled to be a heart attack. He was 71 years old.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooke also posted a list of \u201cThings You Should Not Share With Your Kids\u201d via her Instagram Story<\/a> on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The list included things like \u201cdetails of your marital conflicts,\u201d \u201cnegative opinions about family members,\u201d \u201ccriticism about their other parent\u201d and \u201cunfiltered emotional outbursts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooke and her husband, former NHL player Steven Oleksy<\/strong>, welcomed twins, Oliver<\/strong> and Molly<\/strong>, in January.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since Hulk\u2019s death, Brooke has been open about discussing their estrangement<\/a> in the years leading up to his passing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a post shared via Instagram on July 28, Brooke said her relationship with Hulk became filled with \u201crespectful disagreements that took an emotional toll\u201d on her after she and Oleksy, 39, relocated to Florida to assist him with his ongoing health issues.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAll of a sudden he didn\u2019t want me at surgeries,\u201d Brooke explained. \u201cEverything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn\u2019t get through.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooke has also been estranged from her mother, Linda Hogan<\/strong>, for years. Linda and her son, Nick<\/strong>, whom she shared with Hulk, were both present at a memorial service for Hulk on August 5.<\/span><\/p>\n

After declining an invitation, Brooke explained her reasoning<\/a> on social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy father hated the morbidity of funerals,\u201d she wrote via Instagram on the day of the memorial service. \u201cHe didn\u2019t want one. And although I know people grieve in many ways \u2013 and I\u2019m so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honor him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how\u2026privately\u2026the way that made me feel the closest to him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead, Brooke, her husband and their twins had a beach day in honor of her late father.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
