Bluegrass singer-songwriter Dan Tyminski<\/a> will headline ORNL Federal Credit Union\u2019s second Summer Sessions concert in Oak Ridge this Saturday, Aug. 23, from 6-9 p.m. at A.K. Bissell Park.<\/p>\n A native of East Tennessee, Amythyst Kiah<\/a> will open for Tyminski. The concert is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n Tyminski is a 14-time Grammy ward-winning musician. Known for his work with Alison Krauss and Union Station, according to a news release, his signature vocals are featured on the hit \u201cMan of Constant Sorrow\u201d from the movie, “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” and Avicii\u2019s global chart-topper \u201cHey Brother.\u201d<\/p>\n Kiah was described by Rolling Stone magazine as \u201cone of Americana\u2019s great up-and-coming secrets. The Grammy nominated singer-songwriter’s sound blends roots, Americana, and alternative folk, the release stated. Her solo work has earned international praise for its emotional depth, bold storytelling, and genre-defying artistry.<\/p>\n Both entertainers have previously performed in Oak Ridge.<\/p>\n Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of exceptional live music with friends and family.
