Julia Fox<\/strong> is opening up about the reason she underwent cosmetic procedures in the past \u2014 and how she wishes she could change that.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, when I see someone and I can tell they\u2019ve never done anything\u2026I wish I could go back and be that person,\u201d the 35-year-old model admitted in an interview with Allure<\/a><\/em>, published Tuesday, August 19. \u201cI was so hung up on this idea that I needed to be attractive to men so that I could survive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019re young and hot, it\u2019s like that\u2019s your identity,\u201d she explained. \u201cThen you\u2019re like, s**t, I need to stay young and hot.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Uncut Gems<\/em> actress \u2014 who told the outlet she began filler and Botox when she was around 21 years old \u2014 has previously copped to getting liposuction, a rhinoplasty and veneers.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s super important when you become famous or a public figure to be transparent,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

As for the future, Fox said she\u2019s taking a break from going under the knife.<\/p>\n

\u201cI probably will [get more work done one day], but I\u2019m just not as concerned with it right now,\u201d she told the publication.<\/p>\n

\u201cAm I going to chase the way I used to look, or am I going to evolve and see what\u2019s on the other side?\u201d Fox remarked. \u201cIt could be something totally different, and I\u2019m choosing to go that way. I just want to see who\u2019s there waiting for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
