\n\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\t\t\tJinger Duggar and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, made a point to avoid financial drama during their time starring on TLC\u2019s Counting On. \u201cWe chose not to make money an issue because once you mix money and family, things get complicated real fast,\u201d Vuolo, 36, explained on the Wednesday, June 12, episode of the \u201cUnplanned\u201d podcast. \u201cAs I\u2019m depositing the money, the machine would stop halfway through,\u201d Vuolo said. \u201cIt stops. I\u2019m looking at the lady, she goes, \u2018Oh,\u2019 takes a bill out. I\u2019m looking at the machine. It says, \u2018Suspect document.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018What?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Vuolo noted that the woman took the cash out again before putting it back \u2014 only to get the same results.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going, \u2018What is going on?\u2019 in my head. She looks at the other teller. There\u2019s people around. She goes, \u2018We\u2019ve got counterfeit money here,\u2019\u201d he recalled. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018What?\u2019 She does it five times. $500 of counterfeit money. I\u2019m sitting there shocked at the bank. All this stuff going through my head like, \u2018They think I\u2019m trying to deposit fake money.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cSo of course, I give my dumb excuses, like, \u2018Yeah, my buddy was selling a car. This was the cash from the car,\u2019\u201d thinking they don\u2019t believe me. They\u2019re just going, \u2018Yeah, we\u2019ve heard that one before.\u2019 I\u2019m fascinated by this.\u201d<\/p>\n

They\u2019re going to run fingerprints or whatever,\u2019\u201d Vuolo said. \u201cIt ended up not being that because the money was so obviously fake. The teller had let me feel it, it was just regular paper.\u201d<\/p>\n
Vuolo explained that the teller had to write a report on each individual bill, noting that the bank had seen counterfeit money before but \u201cnothing like this.\u201d Vuolo quipped, \u201cI\u2019m sitting there, just the spectacle at the bank.\u201d<\/p>\n
Duggar noted that she received a text from Vuolo,<\/a> who prompted her to search the internet to figure out what could happen to someone depositing counterfeit money. Duggar explained that she learned if someone was \u201cknowingly\u201d trying to deposit the counterfeit money, it could lead to up to 20 years in prison<\/a> and a \u201chefty fine.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, my word.\u2019 Like, \u2018What in the world?\u2019\u201d Duggar recalled.<\/p>\n
