She explained that Swift, 35, was \u201ckind enough\u201d to let her and Bonet, 57, stay at her Los Angeles home after they were evacuated from their own during the California wildfires in January. However, Bonet also brought along her pet snake, Orpheus.<\/p>\n\u201cI was packing up my things and I was saying to my mom, \u2018I wanna be a good houseguest. I like to leave places better than I found them. I don\u2019t want her to even know we were here,\u2019\u201d Kravitz said. \u201cSo, I was kind of going around and cleaning up, and I\u2019m downstairs, and she\u2019s upstairs, and my phone rings. It\u2019s my mom. I\u2019m like, \u2018That\u2019s weird because we\u2019re in the same house.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cI answer the phone and she goes, \u2018Hi,\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018Your voice is super high.\u2019 And she\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m in a little bit of a pickle. Can you come upstairs?\u2019 I go upstairs and the bathroom door is closed, so I open the bathroom door, and she\u2019s, like, crouched in the corner in this weird way.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kravitz said that Bonet had been washing her face and put Orpheus down for a moment. Though Bonet closed the bathroom door, the snake found a \u201clittle hole\u201d in the corner of Swift\u2019s bathroom next to a banquette built into the wall, with two drawers at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

I don\u2019t know what to do. I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, maybe this hole goes into the drawers.\u2019 So I get down on the ground, I take the drawers out. No. Start to panic. As it\u2019s happening, the snake is getting further and further [into the hole]. I was panicking so much that my mom likes to say, \u2018If I had both hands, I would have slapped you.\u2019 I was freaking out. I\u2019m like, \u2018Mom, I can\u2019t bring you anywhere!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Kravitz said Swift\u2019s house manager eventually intervened and got a crowbar to \u201ctear apart this banquette.\u201d But the impromptu bathroom remodel didn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re ripping up the tile. We\u2019re scratching the walls,\u201d Kravitz explained. \u201cCompletely destroyed Taylor\u2019s bathroom and there was this moment where I was like, \u2018Either we destroy her bathroom or I have to tell her that there\u2019s a snake somewhere in her house.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Kravitz mustered up the courage to call Swift and tell her about the issue, but Swift\u2019s house manager beat the Caught Stealing<\/em> star to it.<\/p>\n\u201cWe destroyed the bathroom and I said to her house manager, \u2018Obviously, I\u2019m going to pay for everything to be fixed. Please just don\u2019t say anything until it\u2019s fixed,\u2019\u201d she added. \u201cI remember calling her and saying, \u2018Hey,\u2019 also [in a] very high voice. \u2018Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something.\u2019 And she\u2019s like, \u2018Is it the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Host Seth Meyers<\/strong> quipped, \u201cI feel like that snake\u2019s gonna get three songs on the next album.\u201d<\/p>\n
