DC Studios<\/a> co-CEO James Gunn<\/strong><\/a> teased a DC Universe<\/a> project entering production soon that has yet to be revealed to the public. The studio head and filmmaker also offered another update on his forthcoming Superman<\/strong><\/a> follow-up movie.<\/p>\n More than a dozen projects have been announced for the DCU<\/a>, from Lanterns and Booster Gold to Clayface and Swamp Thing. However, Gunn recently added a new mystery project to that slate during his appearance on Chris Hardwick\u2019s podcast, I Think You\u2019re Overthinking It.<\/p>\n \u201cI can say that probably the next movie we\u2019re gonna be making is the follow-up to Superman, which I don\u2019t want to get in too much detail on, but like that\u2019s what\u2019s probably the next film we\u2019re making, I think,\u201d Gunn shared with Hardwick (via The Playlist<\/a>). \u201cWell, hopefully we\u2019re making [The Batman Part II] before that, and then I think it\u2019s [the Superman follow-up]. And then we have another TV show, which nobody knows about, which is going next.\u201d<\/p>\n Gunn stating that \u201cnobody knows\u201d anything about the next DC show to enter production implies that it has yet to have been announced, ruling out Booster Gold, Waller, Paradise Lost, and the animated Blue Beetle and Mister Miracle series from consideration. There have been reports stating that DC is interested in developing Superman spin-offs for the small screen, although until Gunn reveals the project, fans likely won\u2019t know exactly what to expect from the mystery show.<\/p>\n I Think You\u2019re Overthinking It wasn\u2019t the only podcast that Gunn swung by this week.
