NEW ORLEANS (WGNO<\/a>) \u2014 Boy band member, actor and TV host, Nick Lachey is excited that his Netflix show, \u201cLove is Blind\u201d<\/a> will be casting New Orleans singles that are looking for love.<\/p>\n For nearly 30 years, 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey has been bringing the heat.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you are wandering around Bourbon Street on Fat Tuesday, I think our song, \u2018Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)\u2019 is incredibly appropriate. I find myself singing it as I go down Bourbon Street or Frenchmen Street. I love New Orleans,\u201d Lachey said.<\/p>\n Something else that\u2019s music to his fans ears is his reality television dating show on Netflix, \u201cLove is Blind,\u201d is now casting singles in New Orleans.<\/p>\n NSYNC\u2019s Joey Fatone & 98 Degrees\u2019 Jeff Timmons talking about letting the good times roll in Krewe of Orpheus <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIf you\u2019re looking for love and the conventional dating world has not been kind to you then \u201cLove is Blind\u201d is incredible way to meet people and get to know them for their true selves. Come audition and check out what the casting call is all about,\u201d Lachey said.<\/p>\n Another project near and dear to Lachey\u2019s heart is raising awareness about cat allergies and dating. That\u2019s why he\u2019s teamed up with Purina veterinarian, Michelle Moyal for the \u201cLive Clear, Love Clear\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n The \u201cLive Clear, Love Clear\u201d series follows three real life couples who are struggling to navigate cat allergens in the dating world and it can be a real obstacle.<\/p>\n You can watch the video series on YouTube.<\/a><\/p>\n Michelle Moyal said, \u201cMany people may not realize that the allergies are spread onto the fur of the cat. While they groom it is in their saliva, and once it\u2019s on the fur it dries and then it goes into the environment.\u201d<\/p>\n Moyal suggests Purina One food that will help neutralize the allergen by 47 percent at day 21 of feeding.<\/p>\n \u201cThree weeks and it\u2019s a simple and effective solution to our cat owners and their partners,\u201d Moyal said.<\/p>\n Lachey said that he grew up with three cats named: Buzzy, Oreo, and Squeaky.<\/p>\n \u201cLuckily for me, I don\u2019t have a sensitivity to cat allergens, but to those who do have them it could be a real problem in your life.
