WE Fest has come and gone but there\u2019s still another country music fest coming up this summer. The two-night roundup Buckaroo gets swinging Friday and Saturday nights at The Lights in West Fargo.<\/p>\n

After packing shows at Fargo Brewing, Charley Crockett brings his traditional twang to an even bigger stage to close out opening night. With 15 records released in the last decade, the singer\/guitarist continues to call back to country music from the 1960s. Joining him on the bill is country rock band 49 Winchester, taking a page out of the Chris Stapleton playbook of mixing rock hooks, bluesy vocals and country instrumentation. Local act Matt Aakre & Dirty Little Secret open the night, followed by singer\/songwriter Noeline Hofmann.<\/p>\n

Justin Moore returns to the area with a few new hits (“You, Me & Whiskey,\u201d \u201cWe Didn\u2019t Have Much,\u201d \u201cWhy We Drink\u201d and \u201cThe Ones That Didn\u2019t Make it Back Home\u201d ) since his last visit. Those, paired with \u201cIf Heaven Wasn\u2019t So Far Away,\u201d \u201cLettin\u2019 the Night Roll,\u201d \u201cYou Look Like I Need a Drink\u201d and \u201cBait a Hook\u201d, will close out Saturday night. Matt Stell also plays, with a set by Kylie Morgan and Anderson Daniels opening.<\/p>\n

Music starts at 6 p.m. both nights. Tickets range from $69.95 per day to a 2-day VIP pass for $199. <\/p>\n

Take a step back in time this weekend to see what life was like more than 100 years ago at Pioneer Days at Bonanzaville, West Fargo. There will be all-day rides and demonstrations in blacksmithing, embroidery and wood carving as well as foods like lefse, rommegrot and kuchen. Special sessions include tin type photos with Kary Janousek, threshing and soap making on Saturday followed by a bake sale, threshing and a parade on Sunday. <\/p>\n

Admission is $5 for kids and military and $10 for adults, 10 to 5 p.m. both days. <\/p>\n

The last big craft show of the summer will be this weekend at the Island Park Show. Walk in the shade of Fargo\u2019s downtown park and take in dozens of crafters, artisans, makers and more. The two-day event also includes a variety of entertainers and food vendors. <\/p>\n

This event is free to attend and open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. <\/p>\n
