Yarely Ashley Hermosillo<\/strong>\u2019s husband, Daniel Salgado<\/strong>, is speaking out days after the influencer died after being hit by a stray bullet<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt hurts to lose your other half, but when it happens in front of you and you can\u2019t do nothing, it\u2019s a different type of hurt,\u201d Salgado said during a press conference<\/span><\/a> with the Glendale Police Department in Arizona on Wednesday, August 20. \u201cYarely\u2019s life was just beginning. We just moved into our new apartment. Her social media career was beginning to take off, and that was taken from her.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a GoFundMe<\/span><\/a> launched for Hermosillo\u2019s family, the social media star was \u201can innocent victim caught in the middle of a road rage incident between others.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hermosillo \u2014 who was reportedly not involved in the argument \u2014 was taken to the hospital by Salgado, who was driving the vehicle at the time, and later died on Friday, August 15. She was 27.<\/p>\n

Authorities claimed that Hermosillo\u2019s mother and son were in the backseat of the car but sustained no injuries.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou asked anybody who knew Yarely, they would tell you she was a glue to the family. She was a jokester,\u201d Salgado said while trying to hold back tears at the press conference. \u201cShe was that caring person you could call when you needed somebody to be with. She would drop everything just to be with you. And she was an amazing cook.\u201d<\/p>\n

As family and friends begin their grieving process, Salgado can\u2019t help but focus on his 4-year-old son, whom he shared with Hermosillo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel for my son when he lays to sleep at night and he can\u2019t cuddle with her,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen we go for a walk, he waits to see his mommy coming out of the house, as she always would.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to police documents obtained by People<\/i><\/span><\/a>, a man was arrested on Saturday, August 16, in connection with the influencer\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

The suspect is charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, misconduct involving weapons and endangerment. He is being held on a $1 million bond and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday, August 26.<\/p>\n

During the emotional press conference, Salgado thanked every law enforcement officer who was involved in the case.<\/p>\n
