    Cooper and Arnett, who wrote the screenplay with Mark Chappell, serve as producers on the movie alongside Weston Middleston and Kris Thykier. Andra Day, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole, Ciar\u00e1n Hinds, and Scott Icenogle round out the movie\u2019s cast.<\/p>\n

    Cooper made his feature film directorial debut in 2018 with A Star Is Born, the Lady Gaga-starring remake of the 1937 romantic drama. The movie won Best Original Song (Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt for \u201cShallow) at the Oscars and was nominated for seven other Academy Awards.<\/p>\n

    Following that, Cooper directed the Leonard Bernstein biopic, Maestro, which was released in 2023. That film was also nominated for a handful of Academy Awards, seven in total, but didn\u2019t win any.<\/p>\n
