Photo Credit: Preston Whelchel<\/small><\/em><\/p>\n Four-time Emmy-nominated actor Max Ehrich (\u201cThe Young and The Restless\u201d) chatted about being a part of \u201cThe Bay,\u201d and he revealed that he has a new movie in the works.<\/p>\n He is a series regular who plays Wesley McKinnon in the daytime drama \u201cThe Bay.\u201d<\/p>\n On being a part of the Emmy award-winning series \u201cThe Bay,\u201d he exclaimed, \u201cIt has been awesome! I\u2019ve been having an incredible summer thanks to \u2018The Bay.\u2019 It has been really awesome to step into a cast that feels like a family.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI am also grateful to have a role that has such depth to explore, and I am excited for people to see it,\u201d he noted. <\/p>\n \u201cMy storyline is really intense! It kind of hits you halfway through; we\u2019ll see. So, you have to watch until the end. It\u2019s going to be an incredible season,\u201d he foreshadowed.<\/p>\n Ehrich was drawn to his character, Wesley McKinnon, due to his \u201cheart.\u201d\u00a0 <\/p>\n \u201cI love his heart,\u201d he admitted. \u201cHe has such a good heart; he gets tested, and he still has such pure intentions. He is such a good guy, and it has been awesome to step into his shoes.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI really love the dynamics that he has with some other characters on the show as well,\u201d he acknowledged.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve gotten to go to a lot of different levels with him, which is all you can ask for as an actor\u2026 I have a great storyline and get to play a character that has such an intricate arc,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Ehrich plays the on-screen brother of Emmy winner Mike Manning<\/a>. On working with Mike Manning, Ehrich said, \u201cIt\u2019s awesome because I get to work with a very talented actor and I really get to play with their brother dynamic.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMike is such a great guy, and he is very talented. So, I really love like my scenes with him,\u201d Ehrich added.<\/p>\n On his new film, Ehrich revealed, \u201cI am doing an edgy psychological drama. I will be starring in a lead role. The production begins filming in early September.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is unlike any other character I\u2019ve ever played before,\u201d he noted. \u201cIt allows me to stretch my acting muscles, and it\u2019s extremely provocative and intense. Hopefully, it will be very entertaining for my fans and viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t wait to share this new project with the fans. So, stay tuned and I really appreciate any and all of their support,\u201d he said, effusively.<\/p>\n When asked about his new music, Ehrich shared, \u201cI was actually just in Florida visiting my parents, who just moved there and I got to go into the studio there, and that was really cool.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI have a lot of working working with some really talented producers,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n For his fans, Ehrich said, \u201cI would like to say \u2018thank you.\u2019 I have something else that I\u2019m going to be able to share soon that I\u2019m really excited about as well.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m very grateful,\u201d he said. \u201cI get some really kind messages on a daily basis, and I do look at their messages and comments, and it\u2019s very nice to have support and an online community. My fans are dope!\u201d<\/p>\n Ehrich remarked about \u201cThe Bay,\u201d \u201cI want people to get an escape! I think it\u2019s really awesome when a show helps people escape from their reality; moreover, it allows us to bring people into another world very authentically.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat is being done through the set design, through every actor\u2019s performance, and through the writing,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n \u201cThere are so many elements to make it and so many people, it really does take a village to bring people to that escape.
