\n\tThe Beatles<\/a>\u2018 famed Anthology <\/em>documentary is getting a new edition this fall for its 30th anniversary, as the band is set to re-release the eight-part project in November with a special ninth episode, along with a remastered musical collection and a special edition of the Anthology\u2019s <\/em>book. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Beatles<\/a>\u2018 Apple Corps has restored the original Anthology <\/em>doc with Peter Jackson\u2019s Wingnut Films and Park Road Post teams, continuing Jackson\u2019s collaboration with the group since <\/em>his lauded Get Back <\/em>documentary f<\/a>rom 2021. The new ninth episode includes footage of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison coming back together to work on the 1995 documentary. The project will stream on Disney+<\/a> starting Nov. 26.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Anthology Collection, <\/em>a compilation record originally curated by longtime Beatles producer George Martin, is getting a restoration as well courtesy of Martin\u2019s son Giles Martin. The collection will be a 12-LP, eight-CD set and includes a new Anthology 4 <\/em>overseen by Giles Martin. Per a news release, Anthology 4 <\/em>includes \u201c13 previously unreleased demos and session recordings,\u201d and the project also included new mixes of the Anthology Collection <\/em>tracks \u201cFree as a Bird\u201d and \u201cReal Love,\u201d which were produced by Jeff Lynne. Those tracks feature \u201cde-mixed\u00a0John\u00a0Lennon vocals,\u201d per the release. The collection will release Nov. 21.<\/p>\n

\n\tGiles Martin recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> <\/em>about his work remastering iconic Beatles tracks, after he was nominated for an Emmy for his work on the Beatles \u201964 <\/em>documentary earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf I\u2019m playing you a mix I\u2019ve done, the last thing I want you to think about is what my mix was like, that it sounds like me \u2014 that\u2019s how you know it wasn\u2019t done right,\u201d Martin said. \u201cI want you to just think about how the song makes you feel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lastly, the Beatles will release a special 25th-anniversary edition of The Beatles<\/em> Anthology <\/em>book on Oct. 14. The book, which is available for pre-order, features all four of the Beatles giving their insight on the history of the iconic rock band. The book is 368 pages and features more than 1,300 photos and documents of the band, as well as recollections from those who were close with the group, including Neil Aspinall, George Martin and Derek Taylor, among others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
