Queen Ka\u02bbahumanu Center invites the community to close out the summer season with a series of free, family-friendly performances featuring local talent and cultural entertainment.<\/p>\n
On\u00a0Sunday, Aug. 24<\/strong>, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., the\u00a0Wonderful World of Aloha\u00a0will take the stage at Center Court with its\u00a0\u201cSpectacular Polynesian Hula Show<\/strong>.\u201d Known for bringing Hawaiian and Pacific traditions to life through music, dance, and hands-on cultural experiences, the group will share the beauty, grace, and stories of Polynesia.<\/p>\n The celebration continues on\u00a0Saturday, Aug. 30<\/strong>, with a showcase by\u00a0Alexander Academy<\/strong>, which opened its new studio at Queen Ka\u02bbahumanu Center last September. From\u00a01:30 to 2:30 p.m., audiences will enjoy a special performance by dancers ranging from Pre-Ballet through Ballet 4\/5, offering a glimpse into upcoming productions and highlighting Maui\u2019s next generation of performers.<\/p>\n That same afternoon, from\u00a04 to 6 p.m., the\u00a0Hana Hou Music Program<\/strong>\u00a0will present its annual concert. Dedicated to making music education accessible to all, Hana Hou empowers young musicians and builds community through the power of song.
