A new Survivor<\/span><\/strong> cast just dropped, and they\u2019ve got a rocket scientist, the frontwoman of a rock band, and a producer behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe. CBS just revealed the new castaways competing for the $1 million prize, which means it\u2019s officially time to get excited about Season 49. The other good part? This also means we\u2019re getting one step closer to the highly anticipated Season 50.<\/p>\n Jeff Probst<\/span> and the folks at CBS revealed the 18 new castaways who will compete in Fiji to outwit, outplay, and outlast for their shot at $1 million. There are people from all walks of life in this lineup, but the most notable person is Nate Moore, a Marvel executive who worked on major blockbusters like Black Panther, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Eternals, and more.<\/p>\n Outside of the MCU connection<\/a>, there are quite a few interesting people in this lineup. There\u2019s an airport ramp agent from Utah with a surprising head of dreadlocks. You\u2019ve got Kimberly \u201cAnnie\u201d Davis, the frontwoman of a band called Trashy Annie. There\u2019s also a \u201cwellness specialist\u201d named Shannon Fairweather, whose name sounds straight out of a soap opera. It\u2019s an intriguing group of people at first glance.<\/p>\n What\u2019s also noteworthy about this cast is that two of them will return for the landmark Survivor 50<\/a>, which will feature all veteran players.
