Production for Season 7 of \u201cThe Kelly Clarkson Show\u201d will begin in September as initially scheduled, according to Deadline.<\/a> <\/p>\n

The news comes after Blackstock, 48, who also served as Clarkson\u2019s talent manager, died Aug. 7<\/a> of melanoma, a form of skin cancer.<\/p>\n

A day before Blackstock\u2019s death, Clarkson postponed the remainder of her Las Vegas residency \u201cto be fully present\u201d for her children, announcing at the time that her ex was ill. <\/p>\n

Kelly Clarkson absent from tapings<\/h2>\n

Earlier this year, NewsNation\u2019s Paula Froelich<\/a> reported that Clarkson missed 10 consecutive tapings of her talk show, with initial rumors stating she was feeling overwhelmed, but it was because Blackstock was sick at the time, and she took their children to see him. <\/p>\n
