Tom Hiddleston<\/strong> <\/a>was caught off guard when he was asked about his ex Taylor Swift<\/strong> <\/a>during a live interview \u2014 by a radio host who seemingly forgot he dated her.<\/p>\n

The actor, 44, appeared on the U.K.\u2019s Heart Radio<\/a> on Thursday, August 21 when Swift\u2019s name was unexpectedly dropped.<\/p>\n

Appearing alongside his The Life of Chuck<\/em> costar Karen Gillan<\/strong>, Hiddleston was speaking about how he loves to dive into reading about sports online in his free time when host Devin Griffin<\/strong> interjected to bring up Swift\u2019s own internet habits.<\/p>\n

\u201cI find myself on the sports highlights,\u201d the Loki<\/em> star said. \u201cIt\u2019s football or if there\u2019s been a tennis championship I\u2019ve missed. There\u2019s all these sports journalists who write really beautifully about sport, and I love reading what they\u2019ve written.\u201d<\/p>\n

Griffin then brought up Swift, who reportedly loves reading NFL injury reports after becoming an \u201cengulfed\u201d fan<\/a> of the sport since dating Travis Kelce<\/strong>, and mentioned her niche browsing habits.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did just find out \u2014 Taylor Swift, big fan of a sourdough recipe blog,\u201d Griffin, 40, said. \u201cVery, very specific but I see how you could get into that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hiddleston was seemingly not expecting his former romantic partner\u2019s<\/a> name to be brought up and appeared to momentarily freeze before allowing his costar Gillan to take the lead in the response.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat feels like an Easter egg for something,\u201d Gillan, 37, said of Swift\u2019s sourdough blog interest, before joking, \u201cI think it might be something to do with the Super Bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n

The radio show later saw the funny side of the gaffe, posting the clip to the Heart FM TikTok page alongside the caption, \u201cWhen you accidentally mention their ex\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift and Hiddleston shared a brief romance<\/a> after meeting at the Met Gala in May 2016. The pair dated for three months before calling it quits.<\/p>\n
