Gavin Adcock made headlines just more than a month ago when he stopped a show to give his fans his thoughts on Beyonc\u00e9 and her \u201cCowboy Carter\u201d album.<\/p>\n
And the rising country music star got back on the subject of Beyonc\u00e9 and her fans during an appearance on Rolling Stone\u2019s Nashville Now podcast earlier this week, <\/b>according to Taste of Country. <\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Adcock was asked if her fans were welcomed at his shows.<\/p>\n \u201cAnytime,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n But that came with a warning.<\/p>\n \u201cThey better get ready for the environment,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just a beer-soaked, rowdy, cussin\u2019, hell-raising environment where people are just throwing down,\u201d Adcock said. <\/p>\n Adcock said his shows are an \u201cexperience.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI sell T-shirts that say, \u2018I survived a Gavin Adcock Concert,\u2019 at my merch table,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n Not sure how much of an olive branch that really is, but \u2026 Beyonc\u00e9 fans you can go if you want. <\/p>\n The college football player turned country music star made news earlier this year because he wasn\u2019t feeling the idea that his \u201cMy Own Worst Enemy\u201d album was behind \u201cCowboy Carter\u201d on Apple\u2019s Country Music albums chart. <\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s only three people ahead of me on the Apple Country Music charts, and one of them is Beyonc\u00e9,\u201d Adcock told his fans. \u201cYou can tell her we are coming for her (expletive) ass.\u201d<\/p>\n Then he went in on her.<\/p>\n \u201cThat (expletive) ain\u2019t country music, and it ain\u2019t ever been country music,\u201d he said to cheers.<\/p>\n Adcock then took to Instagram to add more context to the video.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going to go ahead and clear this up,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen I was a little kid, my mama was blasting some Beyonc\u00e9 in the car. I\u2019ve heard a ton of Beyonc\u00e9 songs, and I actually remember her Super Bowl halftime show being pretty kick ass back in the day. But I really don\u2019t believe that her album should be labeled as country music. It doesn\u2019t sound country.
