\n\tRM<\/a> is giving ARMY a peek into what his life has been like since he finished his service to the South Korean military in June \u2014 and, spoiler alert, he\u2019s completely devoting himself to working with the members of BTS<\/a> on the group\u2019s 2026 comeback.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a heartfelt message posted to Weverse<\/a> on Friday (Aug 22), the performer reflected, \u201cIt\u2019s already been a little over two months since I was discharged from the military.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m from far away Los Angeles,\u201d he continued in the Korean-language post, according to the site\u2019s English translation. \u201cI live, work and play with the members. It\u2019s a really strange experience. It feels like, \u2018Bon Voyage Pyeongchang.\u2019 It\u2019s weird already.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite the culture shock of going from military bunks to palm tree-lined streets and studio buildings, RM says he\u2019s been \u201cworking diligently\u201d on what BTS has in store for its next album and tour, both of which are set for next year. \u201cMaking something \u2018together\u2019 with these friends,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019m going to commit myself to this moment. I\u2019m going to thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s our next album,\u201d RM added. \u201cI\u2019m looking for what I\u2019ll become. Something I\u2019ve forgotten for too long.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe star concluded his message by saying how much he misses his fans. \u201cI guarantee you, I\u2019ll be there soon,\u201d he told them. \u201cI\u2019ll do my best until then. I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRM is just the latest BTS star to update his fans on life post-military in recent days. Shortly before the \u201cWild Flower\u201d artist posted his message, j-hope shared<\/a> a gallery of photos and videos documenting what the septet has been up to, from recording new music in a studio to hitting the beach and shops as a friend group.<\/p>\n

\n\tAll of the band\u2019s activities are leading up to it previously announced 2026 comeback. After Suga became the last member to be discharged from the military in June, he joined RM, Jung Kook, Jimin, Jin, V and j-hope in announcing on a Weverse livestream that BTS would officially return next year with a new album and trek.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,\u201d they shared in a joint statement <\/a>at the time. \u201cSince it will be a group album, it will reflect each member\u2019s thoughts and ideas. We\u2019re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re also planning a world tour alongside the new album,\u201d they\u2019d added. \u201cWe\u2019ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you\u2019re as excited as we are.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
