Jason Isaacs<\/a> isn\u2019t ready to spill the beans on \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d just yet, but he\u2019s definitely in the know.<\/p>\n The English actor \u2013 whose character in Season 3 of the acclaimed HBO series went from entitled finance guy to slurring pill-popper to\u2026 enlightened ascetic \u2013 teased a tiny bit about the future of the show in a recent interview with celebrity.land\u2019s Elizabeth Wagmeister.<\/p>\n \u201cMike has told me things about Season 4,\u201d he shared, but that was it.<\/p>\n Still, it\u2019s an enticing nugget for \u201cWhite Lotus\u201d devotees, as everyone is wondering where the next season might take place<\/a>, and better yet, who from any of the previous casts might reappear<\/a> (like Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Rothwell<\/a> and Jon Gries have done).<\/p>\n Viewers have been so hung up on what could come next, there\u2019s even been talk of a potential spinoff series focusing on the Ratliff family, whose patriarch Timothy was portrayed by Isaacs this past season.<\/p>\n \u201cIf the question is, am I open to Ratliff family spinoff, the answer is absolutely,\u201d Isaacs said, but he added that anything like that actually coming to fruition seemed \u201cunlikely.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIs Mike White gonna put aside the time and park \u2018White Lotus,\u2019 one of the most successful TV shows in the world, and write us a spinoff?\u201d he asked. \u201cI find it unlikely, I wouldn\u2019t put your money on it.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s an understandable desire though, since the Ratliffs were left with many unanswered questions at the close of Season 3<\/a> \u2013 mainly, would Timothy be going to jail for embezzlement, and how would his very well-heeled family fare after all their assets were seized?<\/p>\n As far as speculation goes, Isaacs had some ideas.<\/p>\n \u201cI think he\u2019s going to prison or he\u2019s phoning his friend in the White House and getting a pardon, and doing charity work.\u201d<\/p>\n
