Denise Richards<\/strong> had a candid conversation with her Instagram followers and admitted life hasn\u2019t been great amid her divorce from Aaron Phypers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201c[My summer\u2019s] been wonderful,\u201d Richards, 54, said sarcastically in an Instagram Reel<\/a> posted on Thursday, August 21, before confessing, \u201cIt\u2019s actually been sh**ty, but I\u2019m going to pretend like it\u2019s all good.\u201d<\/p>\n The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> star<\/a> added that while she\u2019s been \u201cposting on Instagram like nothing\u2019s going on in [her] life,\u201d she didn\u2019t want to continue to pretend like everything was fine because \u201cthere\u2019s obviously been something going on.\u201d<\/p>\n Richards continued, \u201cMany of you have been so kind and so supportive of me\u2026 I just want to say, in all seriousness, that this has been a very, very, very difficult time. It\u2019s so hard to go through a divorce. Many of you have gone through that; this isn\u2019t my first one, it\u2019s my second one, and I never thought I\u2019d get divorced again. This is why I always say, \u2018Never say never.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The Wild Things<\/em> actress explained that there were \u201ccertain circumstances\u201d surrounding her split from Phypers, 52, that were \u201cdifficult to talk about,\u201d but she assured fans that eventually she would go into more detail regarding the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cI just want to process and get through this,\u201d Richards said. \u201cIt has not been easy, so your messages mean a lot during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n The Drop Dead Gorgeous<\/em> star and Phypers married in 2018, but earlier this summer, he filed for divorce<\/a>.
