Veteran producer and DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg (pictured) is quite literally reaching for the stars with his next venture in family entertainment.<\/span><\/p>\n The producer behind hits like <\/span>Shrek<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>The Prince of Egypt<\/span><\/i>, Katzenberg is on board as a strategic advisor and board member at Nova Sky Stories\u2014a live drone entertainment company founded by Kimbal Musk, the younger brother of businessman Elon Musk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Katzenberg will work closely with the leadership team to fuel the company\u2019s next phase of growth in creating long-form light shows with a storytelling element. \u201c[Our] objective here is a branded family entertainment with Nova Sky Stories, creating our own characters, creating our own stories here that build the IP of the company,\u201d he told <\/span>Deadline<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n Nova has already gotten the ball rolling on its first collaboration with Katzenberg. The two are co-developing a \u201cSky Story\u201d slated to launch in 2026 and a \u201clarge-scale public experience\u201d that will be revealed later this year.<\/span><\/p>\n Through his WndrCo firm, Katzenberg has also taken an undisclosed stake in Nova Sky.
